Tina-Thu Truong, the founder and president of House of God’s Love, is the registered holder of the 501(c)(3) status. She is responsible for all administration matters of the charity and for ensuring the operational needs of the Houses in Vietnam are met. Through close and frequent contact with the local team in Quang Nam she plays an integral part in keeping daily life running smoothly for those currently being housed and cared for today, as well as planning ahead to assist those who will be needing help in the future.
Tina-Thu is a devoted mother and businesswoman living and working in Chicago, Illinois.
Brad Snook & Karin Ruschke have been actively involved with House of God’s Love from its earliest days in 2007, supporting and working closely with Tina-Thu in all non-administrative aspects of the charity.
Their commitment to housing the homeless is evident in Chicago, Mexico, and around the world… purchasing, cooking and serving meals to guests of Chicago’s Lincoln Park Community Shelter, since 2000, as well as helping alleviate homelessness amongst Mexico’s poorest by volunteering with DOXA (www.doxaserves.org) since 1997.
Brad and Karin have recently assisted with the launch and ongoing services at a new neighborhood food pantry near their home. Both are active in their church, hosting evening study groups and housing missionaries returning to the U.S. for rest and fundraising.
